Thanks the watermelon eyes will be done again, becuase I had a super helpful husband (no sarcasm intended this time ) and he tried to help me get the colors just right, but I did not have much of my greens at the time and he pointed out the green is to bright, watermelon green is darker so I need to mix it up and get a better one .

I am going to work on something like a pomagrante one too since that was the next fruit that was pointed out to me....I think I am going to go threw the fruits one by one, since summer is a fun time for funky eyes.

Hi everyone. I received some samples in My Pretty Pink Box and did a look today using Filigree and Neptune. I've posted the look and a review on my blog! Hope you like!

Welcome jackee! Neptune looks great on you and your look inspires me to use it with something brown for a chocolate mint combo.

Here's my FOTD from yesterday using "Dirty Girl" glitter with Chalkdust Torture as the highlighter, Shiny Pebble (EOTM color) in the crease and Copper penny as my liner. I do so love the glitter and it never ceases to amaze me how wearable these are any time of day. I'm posting multiple shots because I just want to show off the glitter in various lighting. Also want to add an honorable mention for Chalkdust Torture. I love it so much and will be getting a pot of it. If you look closely you can see the superfine glints of color in it so even though it looks like creamy yellow chalkdust, there's so much more to it. So happy i received a sample in my last order. woohoooo!

Oh, and I figured out how to get a good smoky eye look on the lower lash line: use a lip brush! I used the e.l.f. one because it's a tad fluffy and blurs the line at the same time it deposits the color.

More glitter! This time I went with Dirty Martini on the outer half of the lid and Candy Apple on the inner. I used Neptune in the crease and Tiger Lily as my allover base color with Endor as my lower lash liner. In the photo with the one eye you can really see the gold flecks. The glitters are so stunning in the sunlight but I just know they'd be fabulous for nighttime events as well. Someday I will try extending a little beyond the lid but I think it's going to take practice.

**I may have mentioned it in another post but just in case I didn't...I use Makeup Forever Eye Seal to stick the glitters on. First I apply Urban decay Primer Potion in Eden, then I put my base color all over that. Next I place one drop of eye seal on the bottom of a small plastic disposable cup that I've turned upside down and use the e.l.f. defining brush to apply the eye seal to the lid or wherever I'd want the glitter to stay. I only need one drop per eyelid. Now this is the tricky part: you have to work quickly or the eye seal will dry. I haven't looked at any glitter-specific tutorials yet but plan on it for some helpful hints.
