The Painted Ladies Glitter Tutorial!

Sweet Libertine Glitters

I’m really happy that one of my favorite beauty blogs, The Painted Ladies, has made a tutorial on how to successfully use glitter eyeshadows. A lot of my customers love the glitters but aren’t sure how to wear them, so hopefully this will help you out!

A few months ago, when our line of Glitter Eyeshadows were released, I wrote a small blog to explaining how to wear the glitters. The Painted Ladies have also written a really great tutorial on how to use glitter eyeshadows, so I thought I would share it with you here! You can see their tutorial over here.

Breaking Down Beauty: Applying Glitter

Their tutorial shows a few different ways to apply it, for both subtle and stronger looks. I have never tried petroleum jelly to try to apply it, but I have had a lot of luck with Make Up For Ever Eye Seal.

Make Up For Ever Eye Seal

It seems a bit pricey at $20 a bottle, but you definitely get what you pay for! This stuff works really well, makes it waterproof, and won’t come off until you use a makeup remover. I apply it with an eyeliner brush and then press glitter on the area with a q-tip. But there are a ton of different ways to apply glitter eyeshadow – make sure you play around and find a way that works best for you!

And to help with the inevitable - the Painted Ladies have given us great info on how to remove excess glitter.

Much love,

Sarah
