Urban Decay Primer Potion is an eye primer that will help your eyeshadow stay on all day. As the website says:
Apply Primer Potion to lids before shadow application. It dries down almost instantly (and invisibly), creating smooth lids that are super powered eyeshadow magnets.
Urban Decay Primer Potion (UDPP) is something that I use every day, and it’s a high quality product. The packaging on UDPP is pretty nifty, I think, but when you think you’re out of product, you’ve only used about half! This website shows a good tutorial on how to open the container and get the primer out. I store mine in a 5 gram eyeshadow jar – I filled the jar completely, and this was around the holiday season, and I’m still using primer out of it! I do sell empty jars, but any sterilized container would work. They did change the angle of the wand, and it helps a bit, but there was still a ton of product in the tube.
And I know that $16 can seem pricey for a small bottle, but this is one thing that is definitely worth it. And it last for freakin’ ever! I use it at least once a day, and I’ve had my bottle well over 6 months.

I peeked at the packaging last time I was in Sephora, and they do now have a bent brush, which should help with that issue somewhat.
I thought the same thing, too, but it really doesn’t do anything. :-/ I had the bent wand, and I still got well over a 5gram jar out of it.
Has anyone else tried the champagne tinted potion? I am curious to know if anyone thinks it changes the hue of the SL colors. Sweetlib?
I’ve been going back and forth with myself about buying this. I have never used a primer before and 18 bucks seems like an awful lot. If I were to use it everyday about how long do you think it would last me? For 18 bucks I can feed the better half and I for a week so I’d have to really pull the puppy eyes out and some good reasoning to convince this purchase!
I use mine 1-2 times a day (pictures, etc) and I’ve been using my container for over 6 months now. You only need a very little bit for it to work.

Another primer that has been “flying under the radar” is Mavala Eye Base.
It is an eye cream and primer in one.
It goes on clear and dries matte. It is $12.50 at Whatshebuys.com or else Feelunique.com carrys it too.
It is made in Switzerland and also comes in a tube of 10ml.
I’ve been using this product over 10 years and it helps concealer stay on.
I do not like PP as much because it is kind of sparkly and can not be used all over the eye easily.
Also, not everyone wants “beige” eyelids.
Hopefully you will try this brand, they even have a clear lip primer but I have not tried that yet.
