FOTD – 5/15/10 – Basic Eyes – Satin Sheets and Filigree | Sweet Libertine Cosmetics

Satin Sheets

Satin Sheets is one of our newer colors, and it’s a slightly translucent pinkish-wine color. I wasn’t sure how I was going to pull this one off, wearing it by itself – I didn’t want to look like a vampire! But luckily, it blends well so I was able to get a nice look from it. I can see me wearing this regularly – it would look great with a neutral outfit, something with browns, greys, or blacks.

The color applies isn’t too intense, and that gives you the ability to build and make it as dark or light as you want. It’s a wine/berry color, kind of like dark red raspberries.

This mineral eyeshadow accents brown eyes beautifully, but I am sure it would look awesome on hazel eyes, too! I am interested to see it on blue and green eyes – hopefully some of you guys will have pictures soon!

I used Satin Sheets on the lid and blended out into the crease, and used Filigree as a brow-bone highlight. This color would pair well with Antique Rose, Leather and Lace, or Electric Mudslide.
