This is the second FOTD in the Basic Eyes series. For more info, please visit this blog post. The Basic Eyes FOTD series showcases an individual Sweet Libertine eyeshadow color.

Aviator

This FOTD uses Aviator and Filigree. Aviator is a a blue that leans towards teal, and is a nice, sheer spring color.

Since this color is sheer it is easier to blend than the darker colors and would be great for a beginner that is wanting to be a bit more adventurous.  I used Aviator on the lid and crease and used Filigree as a browbone highlight (more info about browbone highlights over here).

This eyeshadow would be complimentary for any eyecolor,  especially blues and browns.

I wore this with a deep purple shirt and it set the eyeshadow off nicely without being too harsh. I also used Sweet Libertine Black mineral eyeshadow wet for an eyeliner.

I would definitely recommend this color for beginners or for those that want a slightly bolder color but are unsure of how to handle it. This would also look smashing when blended into a smokey eye!
