I have to admit – out of every collection we have designed at Sweet Libertine, this had to be the most fun! For Valentine’s Day, we decided to release a limited-edition collection of eyeshadow that had fun, raunchy names.
We threw around ideas for a bit, and then Jen got hit with.. erm.. inspiration? We wanted to use an age verification page, so she decided to build a website that harked back to the early days of the internet – compressed images, flashing graphics – pretty much geocities all over again. And, of course, we had to add horrible music. Click here to go to the website – NSFW.
This collection has nine colors in it, ranging from the somewhat-subdued to the obviously-gaudy. To aid in your XXX-rated eyeshadow purchases, I thought I would give each color a little review.
Let’s start off with #69. While I would love to claim that we named cleverly named this #69 after a certain act, but no. This was out 69th color designed at Sweet Libertine Cosmetics. This color is a warm peachy brown with lots of shimmer and sparkle. It applies like a dream, and would look great with Copper Penny or Brass Monkey.
Backdoor Sluts Vol. 12 is a homage to the many-sequealed generic porn. It is a gorgeous dark brown with a copper and pink sheen and also has glitter in it nfor some extra kick. The color would look absolutely gorgeous on it’s own, or would work well with Cafe au Lait or Tan Line.
The least utilitarian piece of clothing I have ever heard of, Crotchless Panties are sexy nonetheless. A light blue/grey with a subtle silver sparkle, this would look great paired with Secret Liason or Moon Dust.
Every girl’s got a pair, right? Fuck Me Pumps is a silver-grey with a pink/purple shimmer. Would look ravishing with Satin Sheets or Catfight.
I actually have no idea why this is named Muff Diver, but I think it’s telling that the only male in the company named this one. Muff Diver is a green and holographic glitter – it’s essentially green and silver cosmetic safe glitter, but the holographic part of it allows it to reflect a multitude of colors, ranging from pink, purple, green and blue. If you are unfamiliar with how to wear glitter, here’s a page that might help. This would look great with Jet Set or Endor.
When you fall of the horse, you need to get back up on the saddle again. Reverse Cowgirl is a soft gray with a green shimmer. Would pair well with Envy or Disco Butterfly.
Sex in Chryslers is a remembrance to all good memories that almost land us with indecent exposure charges. A copper brown with a gorgeous mix of red and pink glitter, Sex in Chryslers would pair well with Forbidden Fruit or Electric Mudslide.
Sparklecunt is one of the best selling XXX-rated colors. Similar to Flirt, it’s loaded with pink and red glitter for extra impact. Would look great with XXX or Antique Rose.
A fun, eccentric name, Twatweasel is a gold-brown with an orange sheen. Would pair well with Thai Silk or Filigree.
The XXX-rated collection is full of fun eyeshadows, but they will only be around until the end of February. So be sure to snatch (heh heh) them up before they are gone!
<3,
Sarah

Love the names, haha
I WAS JUST WONDERING CAN I ORDER THESE COLOURS WITHOUT TESE NAMES PRINTED ON THEM? THEY ARE KIND OF OFFENSIVE TO ME-AND VERY OFFENSIVE TO MY FAMILY? IF NOT THAT IS O.K. IF I CHOOSE TO BUY THEM I GUESS I CAN BLACK THE NAME OUT
Wow..are you serious? These names should be offensive to anyone who doesn’t work as a Vegas stripper or in an online bedroom! Something with such a crappy name probably contains crap! I would question who is making and testing these products..except I won’t be buying them! Very distasteful and offensive!
Hi! i really love these colours and would like to buy some, but i have the same problem as Amber…I would like the “fuck me pumps” and “reverse cowgirl” but i am apprehensive about the names and i do not think my dad would appreciate picking that up =P so can the names be abbreviated or not written? thank you so much!
DO NOT CHANGE THE NAMES.
If people don’t like the names.
THEY can do something about it….
I love them.
I’m obviously less sensitive than others, because I think the names are hilarious!
To those who have the time to be offended by makeup names, if you feel the need to censor the names on the bottom of your makeup from delicate eyes, why can’t you do it once you receive it? I’m really not trying to be argumentative, it just seems like more of a personal responsibility thing than a “could you go out of your way to do something differently for me” thing. Ya know?
Lovely colors as always Sarah, thanks for all your hard work!
